A "BIG THANK YOU" to those who coordinated some of the FAMILY EVENTS this year...we couldn't have run these events without your help! MEN’S SOCIAL/Texas Hold’em Recap
The big winner from this round of the popular card tournament was Jeff Church.  Thanks to Marc Muhs for hosting another successful gathering, including 30 Fox Point men, and to Jeff Church for the use of his poker equipment and for organizing.  Another date is in the works for later this winter.
SANTA VISITS IN YOUR HOME…Ho, Ho, Ho!
What could be more fun then having Santa stop at your home?!  Santa still has time slots available for Point kids and grandkids on Tuesday, December 15th from 5-8 PM.
Please have a gift for your child waiting on your front porch by the door so Santa can give your child a gift.  Santa will have the pillowcase.  It is your choice to wrap the gift or not.  An assistant will be with Santa to take the digital photo that you will later receive.  You need to have a chair set up for Santa with a nice photo background.  Please keep in mind that for scheduling purposes we need to keep each visit to 10 minutes.  The cost of the visit is $5.00 per family and includes a 4 X 6 digital photo (unframed).

First come, first serve, for the first 20 fox point families.  Last year Grandparents even scheduled a visit with their grandchildren. All scheduling and correspondence will be done via email.  The sign-up form is available on the last page of this newsletter.  Please include your email address as well as the ages of your children (so Santa can visit the younger ones earlier in the evening).   Please contact Janice Gries-Griffin at griesgriffin@sbcglobal.net  or cell #847-275-7443.  Please do not call my home number since I have a little one. 

Capture the Flag 2010
Plans are under way for Fox Point’s annual card party – at an earlier date and a new location. Mark your calendars for March 6th, the event will be held at the Barrington Hills Country Club. Cost is $42 per person which includes a buffet dinner. A cash bar will also be available. The event begins at 6:30 pm. Don’t miss out on the fun – sign-up sheet is located at the back of this newsletter. Hurry –space is limited!!
