Civic
Affairs Report
The
Civic Affairs Committee shall advise the Board of Directors
on any proposals, programs, or activities that may affect
the Association or its facilities. (Fox Point By-Laws,
Article IX, Section 2, paragraph f). The Civic Affairs
chairperson has the duty to interface with organizations
outside of the Fox Point Homeowners Association that may be
undertaking projects that will affect Fox Point homeowners.
For example, if the Village of Barrington is conducting a
study on storm water management practices, it would be the
civic affairs chair to interface with the Village on behalf
of the Fox Point homeowners behalf regarding this issue.
Citizens
Emergency Response Team (CERT) training class
The
Barrington Fire and Police Departments are hosting a
Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) training class. I
believe this class may be of interest to your homeowners
